But with something semi perm which will fade. I promised her last year I would do it and failed. I want to do it at the start of the holidays.
She has dark blonde untreated hair which is halfway down her back. She's nearly 7 - can anyone recommend something suitable to use?

I dip dye 11yr old DD's natural blonde hair most holidays. We use Directions, I always warn her her that we may have to cut her hair if it doesn't wash out come school time. It has always washed out, invariably after swimming. We've done indigo blue, bright pink, green and orange.

Manic panic or Directions.
Put it on the ends of her hair. The longer you leave it, the darker/brighter it is.
At least if it's on the ends and doesn't wash out well you can cut it off.

I used some on my four-year-old last year in the summer. She's now 5 and wants me to do it again this year.
