I've just come back from holiday and want to keep a nice glow on my face Smile can anyone recommend a good bronzer?

I think Benefit Hoola is brilliant. You can do a light dusting or build it very easily and it looks so natural and healthy. I found it even made my skin glow a little. But if you get it make sure you splash out on a good bronzing brush too. I bought the Hoola brush and it's amazing, much better than my old Mac one that left bristles all over my face and chest!

Depends what you want. MAC and Bobbi Brown do nice bronzers in variety of shades, look very natural on but are pressed powder kind.

Illamasqua do a lovely shimmer highlighter bronze which is a cream but also quite subtle.

I personally run a mile from Rimmel etc... Prefer to spend a bit more for a nicer finish.

The bodyshop do lots of matt finish bronzers. I'm quite pale and have just got the lightest one. They get great reviews on makeupalley. Not a bad price too.
I've recently given up on foundation and use a gradual tan (st tropez) and the bodyshop bronzer and my skin looks a million times better.
I used to use a guerlain terracotta one, but the bodyshop is just as good and less orange.

I like hula it's nice and matt.

MadisonMontgomery · 19/06/2016 15:42

I've got an Hourglass bronzer - it's gorgeous.

DD has the Benefit Hoola but it doesn't suit me.
I have the St Tropez pressed powder bronzer (nice and matte , you need the smallest amount)

I had a spray tan done a couple of weeks ago, now it's gone Sad I'm going to try my BodyShop Honey bronzer drops (they add into moisturiser).

I've ordered the Ultrasun TSV ( tinted ) so I've got colour and sun protection in one Smile . Not recieved it yet.

Chanel do a lovely creamy bronzer.
W7 do a really good copy of it if the Chanel is too expensive.
Use a really big swirly brush.

Scuttle22 · 19/06/2016 16:31

I like the No7 bronzing balls.

JamieVardysParty · 19/06/2016 16:37

Bobbi Brown do one in several different shades.

I recommend the Clarins self tanner face drops. Just mix a couple with moisturiser and they give a great glow.

Laura Mercier are a good, matte glow.

Stay away from anything cheap and twinkly

PotatoBread · 19/06/2016 17:23

Isadora in matte tan. Natural and sparkle free plus it lasts ages

Fluffycloudland77 · 19/06/2016 17:26

Buy a face powder for darker skin. No shimmer & available as loose powder which suits me better.

ShutTheFuckUpBarbara · 19/06/2016 17:30

I tried a sample of Benefit's Dew the Hoola, it's the liquid version.
I think it's brilliant and will definitely be buying it, looks more natural than powder bronzer and goes on seamlessly.

IWasBeingAffable · 19/06/2016 17:44

I like Laura Geller's bronze and brighten. It's exactly the colour I go when I tan. I managed to get a t shirt tan last week, and used this to blend my upper arms and it worked.

LoadsaBlusher · 19/06/2016 23:34

Rimmel Matte Bronzing powder
Lasts for ages and is my trade down from Hoola.
I love it❤️

Another recommendation for Clarins Golden Glow - fabulous for starting a tan off in spring or extending it slightly (looks out at pouring rain).

I also use a Guerlain bronzer (the Terracotta Light) which is enough to just lightly sweep over face and neck at this time of the year. Lovely colour and very easy to use.

Laura Mercier Blush and Glow Radiant Face Trio Here

Brilliant, so many people comment on my lovely dewy skin...

HoundoftheBaskervilles · 20/06/2016 03:17

I use a Laura Mercier creme blush them the bronzer followed by the highlighter, it looks AMAZING, dewy and glowing (and I'm a smoker).

I cannot recommend REN Glycolactic Radiance Renewal Mask twice a week highly enough though, I then use Decleor Aromessence Rose d’Orient Oil Serum and cream and the oil cleanser Micellar Oil, and REN Keep Young and Beautiful Instant Firming Beauty Shot for a boost before makeup.

My skin looks AMAZING, really dewy and firm, you only need a small amount of bronzer on top. Honestly, I'm a 42 year old smoker who likes a drink, it's a miracle combination!
