which tops could I wear with these skirts?

I have both of the below skirts and after some ideas as to what I can wear on the top half.

I would like to wear them to work - our office is smart casual but would prefer covered shoulders and not too much cleavage. Also would prefer some form of sleeve rather then vest top styles.

I was thinking a white shirt but thought it might be too heavy looking?

With patterned summer skirts I tend to wear co-ordinating plain coloured tops with cap or short or elbow-length sleeves. Most of mine are from Boden and are years old

I wear lots of similar skirts to work, mainly just with a plain fitted black t-shirt and a cropped black jacket/cardigan.
