Outfit to wear with these shoes!

These were my wedding shoes. It's our first anniversary coming up and we are in London and I want to wear them on one Eve when we go to the theatre. But I have no idea what to wear them with! I don't want to go to dressy.

I am a size 16-18 with huge boobs (which I like covered with my upper arms).

I like vintage looking outfits, don't tend to wear a lot of jeans.

I've looked on Pinterest and seen some lovely outfits but just can't picture them on me!

Any ideas?

A blue checked pinafore and a basket? If you live in Kansas.

Helpful.

...but being serious, they look very 1920s. So they would look good with the tubular dresses and skirts that were popular then.

Ah I don't know if I could pull that off, will have a look though!

Just wanted to say fabulous shoes op

I was looking at 1920s fashion earlier (reading a book set in that era so wanted to visualise it). This link illustrates the shape I mean.

Was going to suggest skinnies and a lovely top if you didn't want too dressy but saw you don't like jeans. 50s Prom style dress, pencil skirt/fitted top or fitted shift? Show off the boobs Grin

I would go nautical and wear a Breton top with capris or a pencil skirt.

Have a look at www.collectif.co.uk

That's cute, but I should have mentioned in my op that if I buy anything I am on a tight budget. But I own a massive collection of clothing Already so hoping for inspiration for a style of outfit that I can create with what I already have. If that makes sense!

oh I see

In that case I'd go for a plain, simple dress

Lj8893 · 18/06/2016 21:51

I have a pretty pinafore style black dress I think I will wear. With either a white blouse underneath or a pale cream blazer, or a black blazer?

Or really casual and a denim jacket?

Pinny and blouse and a red flower in your hair?

Lj8893 · 18/06/2016 22:24

Pinny?! As in my dress or an actual pinny?

Definetly not a red flower in my hair, bit matchy cliche with the shoes!

Yes pinny as in your pinafore dress, why would I suggest an apron?! I personally would wear something else red to avoid looking too much like Dorothy.

TSSDNCOP · 19/06/2016 21:54

Black 7/8 trousers and either a black or white shirt.
