New haircut but now I'm so grey (pics inc)

I've just had a new haircut and I'm fairly pleased. I didn't have time for a colour and the side that is very short has a load of grey through it where all the highlights were cut out. Any recommendations for a good box colour I can plonk on top of this to give it a nicer colour and (honest opinions please) is the short side too short? It all feels a bit lopsided although it's kinda what I had in mind.

Or should I wait and have it salon coloured? What colour though?

I love it! I don't think it's too short on the short side. I do agree that not many stylists know how to do very short but from the photos yours looks fab.

I think your hair looks great, I love the colour. I don't think it's to short, but you'll be amazed at how quickly it grows. Have you figured out your styling products yet? My favourite is Loreal Texture dust - it gives a matt appearance but it does create an amazing amount of texture.

If you really are worried about the right side of your face/head, you could try picking a couple of nailsful of hair from the left over to cross the parting (no idea how to describe this more clearly, sorry). That would break up the appearance of the short side in colour and length. I would do it at least an inch and maybe more from the front so you still have the lovely side fringe effect.

It's a great cut and you look v pretty with it.

I bought 'dust' from the salon today strangely enough! I had been using Tigi bed head wax on the ends previously but having such fine hair made my hair heavy and greasy.

I mentioned this to the stylist and she used this dust on my hair. It feels fab, full of volume and texture, I'm really pleased with how it works.

You look stunning! It really suits you. And I don't like you because I am far too fat of face to carry something like that off Grin. I wish I could. The colour is lovely too. I wouldn't do anything rash for now, if I were you.

Hairdresser opinion here , it's a bit too short that side but could be unnoticeable if you messed up the top a bit , it's a little too flat . Also if it were mine I would have some cour slices on the long side now , why bother waiting , life's too short get it done it will Look amazing , it doesn't need many but it will really essentuate the long side and look really funky x
