Best place to have bra-fitting in London

Where's the best place to have a bra fitting in London. I'm thinking of one of the department stores on Oxford Street or any stores in Sutton, Bromley or Croydon.

Historically I've gone to a particular store but the lovely competent older lady has been replaced by 2 belligerent younger ladies who took 25 minutes to not come to measure me despite 3 requests.

As you've mentioned Sutton and Croydon, presumably Banstead is fairly near you? If so De Braz in the high street is fabulous.

Rigby & Peller are amazing and the bras are worth the money. Bravissimo use horrible fabrics and are not as well cut.

Bravissimo and R&P both stock quite a lot of different brands of bras. Some wi suit some shapes and not others. I found R&P to have a limited range in my size (30GG/H) so although the bras are lovely there isn't much to suit me.

Rigby and Peller. Be clear about how much you're looking to spend, they do have cheaper bras but tend to bring out the spendy ones first (which you can often get cheaper online so take note of the size they fit you in).

The only time I went to Bravissimo they fitted me in a bra that rubbed my sternum raw.

Selfridges do not do bra fitting during the sale Sad

Another vote for Rigby & Peller - if they're good enough for Her Maj's ample norks, they're good enough for my handfuls boobs.

I go to Hans Road but their shop in Conduit Street is close to Oxford Circus tube and you can have a rummage in Liberty's afterwards. Smile

Rigby and Peller every time. I go to the Hans Rd one too - have been going a long time, though not as long as HM!

On balance I'd use the online calculator and then try Bravissimo. I've used R&P a few times but they do virtually nothing in my size (30ff) so not worth it really. Fine though if you don't have a smaller back size with a bigger cup.

The bra I bought there last time is the only painful bra I've ever bought. Seventy quid too.
