Anyone ever successfully saved some Havaianas

Same happened to a pair I bought last year. I haven't even worn them all that much. The quality has definitely gone downhill IMO.

I have no actual solution though!!

I'm wearing a pair of Havainas I bought 8 years ago in Brazil for about £2.50. The proper ones last FOREVER.

Surely all Havianas are the 'proper ones?'
I have two pairs for years, they are still going strong. The ones bought in the last year or two lasted months...definitely the quality has gone downhill.
I wear them for 7-8 months of the year, so this is bad news for me.
Im buying a new pair for holidays as can't trust the ones I have now.

I saw a hack where somebody put a bread bag tag (those flat square tiles with a hole at the top) on the bottom of the broken post underneath.

Can't tell you if it works, though!

You can get replacement straps here in Brazil. Have a look on the internet. That's what some people do, others just put a safety pin or large nail/pin through the bottom of the rubber.

Where did you get them from, the sole looks smooth, I have several pairs that I've had for years, and wear all the time. My soles still have crisis cross patterns on them.

2 pairs of mine have don't this, they used to last for years.

I've still bought another pair this year though, cos they're are so bloody comfy.
