breton top

I have got a good breton top.

I have one from H&M that I wear all the time, it is losing it's shape because the fabric is too thin.

I would like one that is better quality, preferably not too fitted or too lose neither.

Can anyone recommend one that they like?

Many thanxx

Jack Wills Alburgh Breton top is probably my favourite

kimnews · 13/06/2016 11:45

Boden, I have it in 5 colours. Also Live Joules.

Joules harbour tops. Sales should be coming up soon

Hoppinggreen · 13/06/2016 13:13

Boden

Yes? You called? Grin

another vote for Joules harbour top.

dottyaboutstripes · 13/06/2016 14:54

I've found Boden Bretons go out of shape

sergeantmajor · 14/06/2016 20:36

I've got my eye on Petit Bateau (adult range) - meant to be good quality

maddiesparks · 14/06/2016 22:02

I like the Boden long line ones but size down as I think they are quite generous.

deutschland83 · 14/06/2016 22:23

Joules harbour best by miles.

I have a lot of them from different places but 3 now from joules. Better than Petite Bateau.

belleandsnowwhite · 14/06/2016 22:33

Joules

dontcallmelen · 14/06/2016 22:36

Boden are very thin & lose their shape very quickly, I was very disappointed with mine, if I had paid full price would have sent them back.

I have 2 from Joules. They are lush.

Embarrassed to wear them out now as everyone seems to have them. Especially at parent and toddler groups.... trys to think of ways to wear them 'differently'

Dailyfuckingsnail · 14/06/2016 22:53

Oh breton you have made me laugh with that

PacificDogwod · 14/06/2016 22:53

Petit Bateau striped tops are lovely. Not cheap, but last forever and wash really well.

Marking place!

FlopIsMyParentingGuru · 14/06/2016 23:43

Love Joules ones but agree with previous comments about sizing down and their ubiquity. That said I love their quality so much I still would rather wear them and risk matching someone than not wear them.

leedy · 15/06/2016 00:46

Seasalt. Though I'm trying to stop buying/wearing them so much as had definitely got into a Breton top/skinny jeans/ankle boots or trainers Mum Rut.

The oldest item of clothing I have us a real Breton top from Brittany - it's now well over 20 years old

missmartha01 · 15/06/2016 07:42

Joules Bretons for me , I love them.

Mrs9C · 15/06/2016 09:35

Sorry to be repetitive, but I've bought LOADS of bretons trying to find "the one", and I found it, Joules Harbour top. I love the thickness of the material, it doesn't cling, and it's fitted in just the right places. It's very reasonably priced compared to some of their clothing. I've now got it in 3 colours. They also do 3/4 sleeves and full length sleeves.

Mrs9C · 15/06/2016 09:37

To follow on from prev comment, I personally wouldn't size down, as I think the fit is more flattering when it's not tight to the body.
