Smart cropped trousers - yes or no for size 18?

I quite fancy a pair of smart cropped trousers for my holiday to wear with a nice top in the evening... however I am a size 18 with big bum and boobs - would these look ok? I'm looking at them as an alternative to leggings....

I think if they're cropped the proportions would be different from wearing leggings so you might want to try with your tops first. I personally prefer 7/8 trousers, though shorter are OK when it's really hot I guess.
