Dry clean only or wash? Skirt?

I've got a whistles (think its a Carrie) leopard print fine pleated skirt, 100% polyester and it now needs a wash... Or dry clean.

I've looked online and it says I can machine wash on gentle cycle and line dry and it should be ok.

Opinions? What would you do? Such a faff dry cleaning it and my local one is ok but a few people I know have had items ruined plus the woman who works there is a gossip so I'd prefer to use one near my work, but again, I don't know them...

I'm an ex dry cleaner and would always wash anything 100% polyester of mine . It's a very robust material which prefers being washed to dry cleaned . Wash it on its own on a delicate setting with a liquid detergent for delicates and hang immediately for best results . Hth
