So, I bought that kit everyone raves about - just finished doing it.... anyone else done it recently?

No, not yet but I am very tempted. Is it a rigmarole? I'd love a candid run down.

Thing is, my fine hair is wavy and I would quite like to keep it that way - just in better condition. Does the end result have to be poker straight?
