Lightweight waterproof raincoat

after getting soaked today I've had it with showerproof jackets
Can anyone recommend a reasonably priced, around £50, properly waterproof lightweight jacket/coat

get yourself to Mountain Warehouse, they sell real waterproof stuff not farty fashion things. Should be able to get something around that if you strike lucky with a clearance. Look at the men's stuff too, usually better and cheaper and not sodding pink.
