Hi there

I am going to get my top lip zapped for good but I have no idea about procedures or cost.

If you have had it done, what method did you use, how effective was it, and what was the cost?

Tia

I have laser and it's working well.

I started on IPL and paid £60 for my upper lip and chin. Results weren't brilliant, but I did have two pregnancies so had to stop for long periods of time.

I then got a groupon deal for laser and paid £60 for 6 sessions of upper lip, chin and sides of face. I'm now coming up to my final session and I'm really impressed with it so far. The groupon deal is only for new customers so I will have to pay £40 per session or hunt for a new groupon deal somewhere else.

In terms of groupon, the quality of the businesses do vary, so I'd recommend checking then out before you book. The first therapist I went to had a grotty set up and after the first session, the business closed. I was really impressed with groupon as they emailed me to tell me the business had closed and refunded me within a couple of days. I booked with another clinic and it was lovely.

Thanks chanie. So laser would be your recommendation? How many sessions are you going to have do you think?

I have no idea how many sessions I will need, but I've seen a reduction already. I have PCOS, so I'm probably not a good person to ask, as I'll probably need a million sessions!!'

Hoping someone else will cone along with experience so I can make an informed decision. ..

I've had it done, costs £200 for 6 sessions. You need that mainly to get all cycles of hair growth. Very happy X

Thanks signal. Sounds good and within price range. Did you have laser or ipl (is that the same as electrolysis?)

Laser as my research showed IPL wasn't as reliable. I'm not sure about electrolysis X
