Really need your help

Please can you help? I am always in awe of the advice you always give.

My son has treated me and a friend to Ascot tickets which is lovely, however I have nothing to wear! I am a curvy size 12 and have to ensure its knee length as have awful knees!

Please can you stylish mumsnetters advise this hopeless shopper of where to buy a decent dress?

Saw this in Pepperberry yesterday. Not too ££ I thought and the colours give a lot of options for accessories etc. Was a bit short on me (I'm 53) and slightly wide on the hips, but the 10 'curvy' fit well over the boobs.
