Brown boots and black jacket?

Al my jackets are black, but I love wearing brown boots with blue jeans.

Am I clashing?

What colour of brown is it? If it's lighter than dark brown then it's perfect, if it's dark chocolatey brown it'll still be OK.

It's congnac so quite a rich brown rather than tan

They are to replace a pair of mustard colour suede boots which looked fine but wanted something that wasn't going to wear out so quickly

Cognac definitely fine with jeans and black.

Sounds quite classic actually.
