Bought them and can't decide if I like them or not...

They are very comfy

I was toying with the idea of saltwater's but I'm not sure they'd look right on me.

Sorry OP I love geeky shoes but those are a bit yuk!

nannybeach · 03/06/2016 08:32

I am 65 and 5 feet tall, if I wore them, I would look shorter and frumpy, apart from the sparkle a bit like what we used to call "Jesus" sandles, worn by nerds middle aged hippies, and bible bashers!

Ineedmorelemonpledge · 03/06/2016 08:56

They are really on trend this year...

I have these (not in UK) which are similar in style and had lots of compliments on them..

I wear with 3/4 boyfriend jeans and a kimono usually. But I think they'd also look nice with crop capris and a Bardot or Breton top.

And they are soooo comfortable.

DavetheCat2001 · 03/06/2016 09:04

Not keen OP.

naffedoff · 03/06/2016 09:10

I have these same sandals but in a white strap/animal print band colourway, bought from Clarks outlet shop for £25. I think they look very stylish on (wore them with turned-up skinnies) and are very comfortable. I wore them all around London last weekend and they were fine.

Mrsmaudwatts · 03/06/2016 10:21

Decided I'm keeping them. They look good with jeans/chinos.

Those of you who hate them, could you link to some you like?

But the pale pink colourway

BeJayKayven · 03/06/2016 12:21

If you like them, wear them!

The flat bed sandals are everywhere this year, quite like the Reiker version too

TheFairyCaravan · 03/06/2016 12:26

I ordered them, in a different colour, but I've got really skinny ankles and the straps were too long. They are very comfy, though.

When we were on holiday a young woman, about 21/22, had them in black and they looked great on her.

They look really different in the flesh.

PrimalLass · 03/06/2016 12:27

Damn you Grin I love them.

AddictedToCoYo · 03/06/2016 12:31

If you are young (under 35), slim and boho I think maybe. If you are older, slightly overweight or conservative in your dress style I think they could look dowdy.

I concur. I really like them but with my cankles and short dumpy legs there's no way they'd do me any favours. They could be great on the lithe and slim of leg though.

Mrsmaudwatts · 03/06/2016 12:51

They are much nicer on, I think. Tried them a few times today with my jeans and they are nice! I'm not skinny skinny but my ankles/legs are slim.

I shall wear them with pride and dance around d like drop dead Fred should anyone look at them like thisHmm

Those of you who don't like them clearly don't have any style. Grin

I have mine on today with a DP v-back midi dress, statement necklace and fab sunglasses. I have had multiple compliments and I am not stick thin, more curvy 14-16!

Ineedmorelemonpledge · 03/06/2016 15:33

Oooh now I want to see the DP dress Grin

IsItGinTimeYet · 03/06/2016 15:50

dress for Ineedmorelemonpledge!

YaySirNaySir · 03/06/2016 20:10

Now you just need to order a tambourine to go with them and you're good to go.

Just joking - enjoy them op.

Aeroflotgirl · 03/06/2016 20:18

I am usually the first to say if something looks sad and frumpy, but they look nice, and quite contemporary.

Aeroflotgirl · 03/06/2016 20:28

The black ones look sad and Jesus creeper like, but the gold ones are nice, not my style, but they are nice.

Ineedmorelemonpledge · 04/06/2016 09:11

Oh no I can't open it isitgin Sad

Sunshineandwaves · 04/06/2016 09:33

I think I have a good eye for frumpy sandles, styled with the right outfit I think those would look great. You should keep them, especially if they are comfortable.

puglife15 · 04/06/2016 09:49

I think they're nice.
