Talk to me about (non-exercise related) trainers...

I've been stuck in a Converse rut for about 10 years and before that a Gola rut.
Any recs for leather (not canvas), non-white (I'm not a 'pristine white trainers' kind of gal), not too chunky/gym-like trainers? Oh and I'm a size 3/3.5 which is probably why I've stuck with Converse...

Are Stan Smiths passe and do they look rubbish in anything other than white?

Having just tried on some Stan Smiths they're a definite no...

I have a pair of these in a slightly less garish colour.

They are comfy and I think meet your criteria.

It'd help if I added the URL:

Hmm am looking for something a bit more muted and less 'trainer-ish' if that makes sense. Also they seem to start at a size 4...

Ash trainers are nice.

I've got some in a putty coloured leather and I really like them.

Hang about, I'll see if I can find a link...

YvaineStormhold · 02/06/2016 15:14

this kind of thing

Millionprammiles · 02/06/2016 15:21

Yvaine - I loooove those! And they're in a 3 :)
I might see if they do other colours as black always feels ever so slightly school PE pumps to me but I really do like those. Why have I never come across that brand, they're ace.
