What tinted moisturiser or foundation do you find good?

I usually used Laura mercier in the summer but spotted the no 7 new one in boots yesterday - it has SPF 50 in it- anyone tried it ?

Not tried. I was looking for a moisturiser with spf 50 but this might be better idea.

Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue is SPF30 and I really really like it - decent enough coverage, feels lovely, very moisturising, excellent colour range.

If you want higher SPF, La Roche Posay do a tinted version of their SPF50 Anthelios facial sunblock, though it only comes in one sheer colour, or for more coverage, an SPF50 compact - IIRC it comes in two colours and I was lucky enough to match one of them, not so useful if you don't.

I use it all the time. It's good.

Nars tintd moisturiser is very good and has spf

I've got Elizabeth Arden visible difference BB cream right now www.johnlewis.com/elizabeth-arden-visible-difference-multi-targeted-bb-cream-spf-30/p561181
It's gorgeous, smells lovely, really makes skin smooth and soft . BUT i have shade 02 and it's a bit too pale for my (olive) skin. So I'm still looking for that holy grail (and I don't want higher than SPF30).

I really like the Kiehls BB cream. Less is definitely more with it. I really like the finish, polished but not "made up" iykwim. It's SPF50 I think - but I wouldn't rely on a BB cream for SPF in the summer.

I've used Clinique's tinted moisturiser for years, love it, but I think it only has an SPF of 15 - it should be OK if you wear a moisturiser with an SPF of 20/25, though.

Gingefringe · 01/06/2016 21:35

Clinique CC cream is lovely - it has SPF 30. It gives great coverage and feels good on the skin.

Lots of different options thanks,
I m pale Irish colouring - and have an outbreak of freckles this week ! Ahhhhh need good sunblock but I hate

  1. the luminescent white sunblock glow that comes through
  2. the fact that a lot of it feels like a heavy oil slick
  3. the oily stuff slides off my face in warm weather anyway!

At the moment I m using la Roche SPF 50 under nars sheer glow, or bourgeois blue lidded bb cream,
It just feels so heavy and oily on my skin, I don't like it. I prefer minimal make up in the summer.

I think I m going to go try some of those tomorrow. Starting with the Clinique and nars counter :).

Now I also need a good mascara that s waterproof not clumpy ..... Ideas ?...

Oh just seen Kiehls might try that actually

I love biore watery essence spf50 & no 17 bb cream is lovely. LRP Anthelios is white & pills so I've relegated it to neck & chest now

Howaboutthisone · 02/06/2016 11:06

I've found Clinique city block pretty good the SPF 25 one but I think they do a higher one too. And Mac prep and prime SPF 50.

mrsmortis · 02/06/2016 12:32

For topping up the SPF during the day I like this:

I like the Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue, I have very fair skin and it's the only one I've found that doesn't look orange on me. It also feels really light on the skin Smile

CopperPot · 03/06/2016 21:06

I use the no7 factor 50 tinted moisturiser- it's light but a little goes a long way or its a bit greasy
