I've fiddled about with my skincare regime and now I'm getting watery spots on my forehead and under the skin mini-bumps on the rest of my face. Not cystic acne type bumps, much smaller. What do you think could be the culprit? What should I reduce it to or omit first do you think?

52 yr old combination skin used to Liquid Gold.

Decleor cream cleanser ---was using EH moringa balm
Pixi glow tonic ---never used before
Decleor rose aromessence ---was using iris
Decleor hydrafloral moisturiser ---used for years
Avene SPF50 ---new, using sporadically.

Evenings - same cleanser and Pixi then a night balm but twice a week Alpha H power peel which has retinol and glycolic.

I've also started using Laura Geller powder foundation and was about to send it back thinking it was the talc but haven't used it for a few days and spots getting worse.

Think it might be the Pixi or the rose? Are both known irritants?

I really should stop pissing about with skincare, I had it nailed a year ago then started getting excited about new things coming out. Blush

Could you elaborate on "watery spots"? I can't imagine the Pixi would give you issue if you're used to LG, unless you have problems with the ginseng in it or something.

Yes, they are like little pimples but not white pimples. I can feel them and can scratch the top off. 😝

I thought Pixi should be ok. Mind you twice a day it might just be too much. I think it has witch hazel in it? Is that bad?

i had the exact same spots and mine were caused by the pixie glow. they took a while to disappear though after i stopped using it. i havent had them at all since i stopped using it, i dont know what i reacted to in the liquid but its obviously not for me!

Aha! Thanks for that onenight I shall start with removing the Pixi from my regime. Pity really, I bought two bottles of it to replace the LG I ran out of. Maybe I can use it on my legs!

Hmmmm. I've read a few reviews that mention 'purging'. Maybe I should persevere?
