help me find some black chinos, please!

This should be easy, but I'm finding it impossible. I'm after a pair of cotton (with a tiny bit of stretch if needed) chinos in black. Quite slim leg/fitted around the bum, that can be rolled up, and not to mumsy.

Had a lovely pair from Banana Republic last year - called something like the rolled city chino? - but can't fit into them anymore.

I'm 35, a size 10-12 pear shape. Budget up to £50 absolute max. Any ideas??

In the end got some 7/8 trousers from Boden and some cropped Eden jeggings from Dorothy P.
I don't looooove them but they were 12 quid in the sale and they'll do for work.

Debenhams had some in; can't remember which department though (although if you're local to me I can tel you where they are in the store!)

Gap do have some but they're a washed black/grey - I really want proper black. Unless I've missed some in there? in which case, more clues please! Will try debenhams - thank you!

which Boden trousers did you try hollie? was wondering about the chelsea turn ups but thought maybe too smart?

Howies have these in navy and burgundy from previous seasons, and they are s great fit (on me) and excellent quality.

saw some in M&S last week

h&m have some but not sure if the cotton content is high enough

Those Mango ones look perfect! thank you summer. And the Howies ones too - never bought from there before, but will give them a try.

Any idea on how Mango and Howies come up size-wise?

Yes I too have been looking without success. Got a Red Herring pair in navy last year but they're not doing full length this.

Go up if you're sometimes inbetween sizes as Mango can run small. I'll be buying some too
