Can anyone recommend some nice, knee length, well fitting shorts please?

Going away in about 4 weeks time and none of my shorts fit anymore! On a tight budget but would like to buy some knee length or just above the knee shorts (I can't wear short shorts as my legs are too big and covered in scars)

I'd normally go for denim but think that will be too hot so maybe some cotton or linen? I just can't seem to find what I want anywhere.... help!

I have a pair that I bought a couple of years ago and they are great.

I have some knee length shorts from White Stuff, not cheap, but fit well and are quite smart. Check out places like New Look, or Supermarkets. I have a random selection I wear for work, but they are from a selection of places.

Fat face? I have some nice linen ones from there.
Or Boden usually have some.

I always struggle to find nice knee-length shorts, so I tend to buy jeans and turn them into shorts. Might be an option?

I'm thinking denim will be just too hot, but I could bit some cotton trousers and do the same I suppose?
