Top notes are orange blossom and neroli; middle notes are tuberose, jasmine and black currant; base notes are sandalwood and white musk.

Where did you get it from?

John Lewis. They had a table of reduced to clear perfumes. I was drawn by the 'Scrivenaires' thing, as I'm a bit of a writer and ponce.

There was one called Wilde, one called George (after George Sand), one called Junky after Augusten Burroughs, and then Gigi.

The shop assistant said 'It's named after a prostitute' which made me laugh, but wow, it smells gorgeous.

I keep saying 'gorgeous'.

I liked it, but it was too masculine for me. I like sweet scents.
