sunscreen for a scar

I need total sunblock for a new scar. It's in an awkward position, where a garment cannot always be relied upon to stay put and keep it covered.

Any recommendations?

I'd prefer something that won't show, but would rather the sunscreen showed than that the scar got sunburnt.

Does the stuff cricketers put on their cheekbones stay put against rubbing? What is it?

I'd have thought any 50+SPF would do fine.

You mean the zinc oxide type sunscreen - they don't stay put against rubbing. I'd go for Ultrasun once a day and reapply as well to be sure.

So not much point in getting anything special, really. I'll just get a couple of little bottles of baby sunscreen, then.

I put factor 50 baby sunscreen on DSs forehead scar and that has never burnt.
