Voluma Cheek Lift

Has anyone had it? I am booked to have it in a couple of weeks.
I was booked for a Blepharoplasty but am going to have that next year and just work on my skin care and have a little botox and the Voluma Cheek lift which is supposed to lift jowls, sort eye bags etc.
I know it sounds vain etc but I really don't care. I am 43 and not ageing well and fed up of looking like droopy dog.

I am booked to have cheek fillers and tear trough in 3 weeks really excited.

I've booked my botox and Voluma cheeks but on separate days. Cannot wait! I really want to start doing Retin A too but don't want to spend a fortune on my cheeks and forehead and then have all my skin flake off!
Apparently having the cheek lift will remove eye bags, jowls, nano labial lines and just lift the face so you might not need the tear trough

Can I ask how much it is please?

At the place I'm going to it's either £175 for a 1mm syringe of Juvederm or £395 for a 1mm syringe of the longer lasting Voluma. I asked the nurse when I booked it and she said it's usually 1mm is all that's needed but obviously depends on your face.
From reading online there is some debate as to how long the Voluma lasts but I'm going for that this time.

I had my second Voluma cheek lift this week. I had the first (a full vial) in December 2014, aged 48. I'd say I only really noticed the effect wearing off about 8 weeks ago so easily lasted 16 months though, obviously, natural ageing has occurred at the same time.
The main difference with the lift this week was that the filler was injected into three different points in each cheek rather than all in one place - apparently this gives a better, more natural effect. Its very subtle, I'm not interested in trying to look younger, but it definitely makes me look better (less saggy, softens the lines between nose & corners of mouth) and I wouldn't hesitate about doing it again!
I go to an experienced GP who was recommended by a friend.

Moominmama that's interesting that the Voluma technique has changed and I'm very encouraged by the fact it lasted so long on you. I think the effect is supposed to be subtle (and that's what I want) but very effective and as far as I can make out, for fillers it seems to do the most in terms of a 'face lift'. I can't wait now!! (although I have to! two sodding weeks!!)
I am planning on having this once and then doing my blepharoplasty next year or once this has worn off and then doing it again after.
Where is the country are you based?

Had cheeks done before which were great but feel I needed a bit in tear trough area but practitioner was not confident with that procedure.

I'm in South Wales (pm me if you want a recommendation in this area).
It definitely gives a mini face lift if done well, and the great thing is that the effect is immediate, even if you do have to wait two weeks!

Saying that, I waited 24 hours after my first treatment before telling my husband to see if he noticed anything - he didn't until I pointed it out, then said 'oh you do look better'. Its a good job I love him

I have a follow up appointment 3 weeks after first appointment as practitioner does not want to put in too much first time.
