Bigger Bra Size Help

I need a strapless bra for Saturday, and off shopping tomorrow (with my guy pal), so I'm pretty sure there won't be time for trying on.

My current bra is a 38D, and is too tight around my back, but the cup size is fine.

Would I need to get a 40D, or is that too simplistic, would it be a 40C.

And you do need to try it on as different styles have different shape

I'm a size 12 on the bottom, and a 14 on top.

I had a feeling I might need to try them on, but I just don't think I'll have time.

You are not a 40 back if you're a size 14. I'm 18 stone, dress size 18-20 and a 38

Definitely not a 40 back. I am size 20/22 on the top with a 36 back bra (36GG). I imagine your back size is too big and your cup size is far too small

I can't find my measuring tape demented, I think my DS has been using it!

You can get bra extenders. They attach to the hooks of your bra to make it bigger at the back. I got mine from M&S I think, but might have been debenhams.

You are not a 40 back if you're a size 12-14! And size 38-40 strapless most certainly won't do anything for you.
