Hair intervention?

Can anyone help with my hair? Was waist length, usually plaited or up, until this time last year when the condition was getting awful and I decided time to go. Hairdresser advised just below shoulders and then seized scissors and chopped to jaw length Angry I've been struggling with it ever since.

Parameters - very thick, quite coarse, stupid wave that resists straighteners with everything in it but wont quite curl either.

Currently in a bob shape with some long layers and no fringe. Collar length.

Personal style parameters - have busy mornings and child with SN so very little time to style. Really need as close to a no morning maintenance solution as possible. Relatively professional job. Ideal would be low key elegance who am I kidding

41 next month, 5'9, size 12. Glasses wearer. Own make up but it's a lucky day when it gets applied.

Is there hope?

Brazillian blow dry / permanent straightening.

More layers and thin it out.

A new colour. Something richer with maybe a few highlights.

If you prefer a wave a good serum and a sea salt spray and partially finger dry.
