Diary Doll Pants

I'm thinking of ordering some of these - but I'd appreciate comments from regular users. I have never bought or worn them before.

Does the waterproof layer crinkle or rustle when you move?

Do you have "breathability" problems with the waterproof nature? I'm concerned about increased thrush and odour?

Can you wear them all day - or should I plan for more regular chaning?

Thanks for everyone's help and advice.

I've not used them myself but have read good things one here - you should be able to find a few threads to keep you busy via advanced search.

I wear these and really rate them.

I use a sanitary towel with them and use them as an extra precaution than actual sanitary wear. I started using them as I had very heavy periods after the birth of my second child which lasted up to two weeks. Tampons were useless and sanitary towels frequently 'leaked'. During the day I tended to only wear black trousers/jeans as I was genuinely scared everytime I stood up. Nowadays I wear them at the beginning of my period and at night.

They don't really rustle or crinkle. They are like well made Bridget Jones type knickers. I would recommend getting one pair to see how you get on.

they're actually really soft and pretty, I too was worried they might be bulky or make a noise, but they don't feel any different to normal knickers. I also noticed they're extra wide in the gusset which is great if you wear a pad, cos it doesn't hang out. you can even shove them in the washing machine and tumble dry too

I have a pair. I am a mooncup user but Diary Dolls are the best thing ever for heavy flow days. I use them mostly at night. They are a bit sweaty so would not wear them 24/7, but not sweatier than thin pads or pantyliners. (I switch to breathable flannel pantyliners after the 2nd or 3rd day.) I have never had thrush while wearing them. No rustling. It's difficult to understand why these haven't always been available. I remember that as a teen I used to cut up a plastic bag for extra protection Confused
