I need good quality basics t shirts etc in a size 18-20.

No new ideas I'm afraid. I'm the same size as you and get basics like leggings and t-shirts from Boden, White Stuff, and occasionally H&M, Primark and New Look. I've also got some fab long vests for layering from Dunnes online, which have kept their shape really well. I also keep an eye on TK Maxx.
