What to wear for a smart shoot?

DH goes to a few fancy-pants shoots and I've been invited this Autumn.
I'm thinking my Dunlop wellies, faded jeans and someone's castoff jacket won't be ^the thing.

I really don't want to go down the tweed skirt route but am happy to buy a new jacket, boots (though preferably wellies) and a hat if that's appropriate.

Any country style experts out there?

Perhaps get your husband to take you to a game fair or countryside show - there's usually loads of women's clothing stalls ( some with changing rooms) and lots of super stylish women around.

I would wear dark skinny jeans, something like ariat grasmere boots (mine are 4 years old and SO comfy), a shirt and jacket
Obviously depends on weather, you don't want to look nice and freeze!
