First night out in 3 years- does this look ok?!

Few drinks in town told others are wearing black skinnies with a dressy top- would either of these outfits do( different kimono but everything else the same)
Will make an effort with hair and make up but is this ok?

I think the blue is more flattering, just where it finishes a bit higher so gives you more waist. You look great!
