Late to the party - Boden striped ruched skirt

Gah. Did that ridiculous thing of hesitating over ordering and now they're all sold out in my size. Of course now I reeeally need one to make my life complete. Wonder if they will restock?

Anyone got one in a regular 12 that they want to sell on?! Clutches at straws

Mine arrived today -so flattering. DH never comments on my clothes (unless he really hates it) and he wolf whistled. Need some sun now.

I'm missing something Sad - got a 12 long and it's too short. I'm only 5ft 4" but it is a really unflattering length. Thought it would be a proper midi length but it looks very dull on me. Do they stretch/get longer in the wash?

It's not supposed to be midi - mine is just above the knee, although it can ride up a bit over tights.

I think one of mine is a 12 long too. They've arrived today but I've only just got in so will try on in the morning :)

I thought I'd already posted but obvs not.

I'm 5'11 and the long is proper midi (below knee) on me. So long is strictly for the tall, I'd say.

Iam 5ft 3 and the standard length is just on the knee on me.

I'm keeping the 12 long. I'm 5ft 6 and it sits just under my knee. I guess it depends on the length of your legs regardless of height, mine are a bit short!

Great for showing off the curves.

I have a 10 regular in the stripe that will be going back unless any one wants it?

Has anyone got any links to what they plan to wear it with? I really like the look of the skirt but I'm size 12 with pretty big boobs so think I'll just look silly as I can't work out what to wear on top.

The beauty thing about it is it does with anything.

I would smarten it up with a tie neck silky soft blouse, or a chiffony top and heels, but I also dress it down with a plain grey jumper and flats, or a Breton top.

It's really versatile.

I'm 5'3 and long is only just below my knee. (Which is exactly where I wanted it.) If I've got extra long legs then it's news to me. Sounds as if Boden have caught a touch of the H&Ms with their sizing?

Rain Sorry I can't link at the moment but I normally just wear it with something loose fitting to counteract the body-con effect. Although if you've got the body, then something fitted on top would look good too.

Does it look not very ruched on anyone else? Confused Mine certainly feels like the right size on me but just looks a little crumpled at the sides. On the hanger, it looks nicely ruched, though.

I'm about 5'3" and the regular sits just under my knees which is what I wanted. I've been wearing it with the Tamara top which is fairly long and loose.

I have just ordered the striped one as there was a 14L in stock, I am 5'10" and I hope it's below my knees or it will go back. I have got a horrible feeling it will be on my knee which will be too short as my knees have not aged well, I'm 58 Smile

I have the Hush one in blue/black stripe and I love it. Have just ordered the khaki too. They have lots of sizes left if you have missed out on the Boden one.

I thought the Hush one looked short compared to the Boden. How far is it above the knee? I'm 5'6 so pretty average.

Hush one is several inches above the knee - I'm 5'3. Should have sent it back really but I loved the colour.

I have a navy one! And love it!

I orig ordered the 12 stripey one and really liked it but my heart was set on the navy one. I stalked the Boden website for 2 days, refreshing the page every 10 mins. I keep seeing returns coming back in odd sizes in all colours but never a 12R in navy. Then randomly one evening one appeared and I grabbed it.

If anyone is after a stripey 12R, I sent one back 2 days ago so it should be appearing online anytime soon!
