What length SHOULD my tapered, jersey trousers be?

I've bought some tapered jersey trousers but they're far too long. So I need to re-do them hem.

Is there a 'right' length? Or does it not matter?

I need some reassurance before I get the scissors out! 😬

I'd say just above ankle bone. What sort of shoes do you plan to wear them with?

SquirrelFruitandNutkin · 20/05/2016 14:09

That's what I was thinking 😄

It'll be flat sandals - Birkenstocks

I've got carried away and hacked the elasticated bottom 6 inches off!

I'm sure they'll look great.

I hate doing alterations so I am impressed!

They were from sainsburys with 25% off today so only £10 down if I destroy them. I think I'll need to taper them a bit more too but they look better already. 😄

Ankle bone, for sure.

Yup, ankle bone.
