I'm feeling very down about them, they aren't permanent, ironically they last all day but are gone by the evening when I'm home from work etc Sad
I just feel they age me, I'm feeling very self conscious, help!

I've just seen that Clarins have a new eye range out which you could look into. I absolutely adore Clarins and imagine them to be excellent.
Also, I read earlier today that you can in fact exacerbate the problem of eye bags by using the incorrect cream. I'll need to reread the article to be more specific but right now it's on the bottom floor and I'm trapped on the top with DD.
I shall be back...

lurking as I have the same issue. by lunchtime I don't look like I need a week in bed anymore...

Simple inexpensive fix: soaked green tea bags will take them down a bit.

In general though, eye creams used at night make for puffy eyes. Get a serum instead and use the cream for the day. Skyn Iceland do these eyegel thingies which are a bit on the expensive side but work like nothing else in taking down puffiness and signs of general fatigue, used by MUA all the time for TV, photoshoots, etc.

I have a Clarins eye cream btw, it's fine but nothing mind blowing.

I love Liz Earle Eyebright for puffy eyes, especially hayfever induced puffiness!

I'm getting this a bit too and my mother went through a phase around my age when hers were really puffy. I'm thinking I need another pillow, the puff seems to build up overnight so it's worse in the morning, but then deflated as the day goes on.

Put a couple of spoons in fridge to get cold then hold over your eyes, sounds weird but very cooling and soothing apparently !

Also gently tapping around the eye area with a finger is supposed to disperse lymph from the eye area which causes puffiness
