Need a cardigan/jacket for interview to go with this dress

Help!! I've got an interview on Monday with very little time to get to the shops, but I desperately need a smart cardigan or soft tailored jacket to go with the dress that I have bought.

This is the dress and I'd like a pop of colour to liven it up a bit (and make me more memorable as a candidate - 'the lady in the pink cardigan' sort of thing). It's for a teaching post, so nothing too formal is required, just smart/casual. If it makes any difference, I'm a HOC 'sprinter winter' so something 'clear and bright' would be preferable!

I'm also on the hunt for some shoes - I'd like to put together shoes and cardigan/jacket to create a co-ordinated look. Any suggestions for flat or very low heel styles that would look good with my dress? Two reasons for avoiding heels - the Headteacher is very short and I don't want to tower above her, and I've got such a bad back at the moment that has been exacerbated by walking round schools in high heels!

My confidence is pretty low at the moment, so it's really important that I feel good on the day!! I know you lovely mumsnetters will have some fab suggestions that will suit my very small budget.

H&M have a huge range of inexpensive jackets. I like the jersey ones like this as they look smart but are soft and comfortable to wear. Maybe smart ballet flats for shoes?

Thanks Bluesky, that's the sort of thing I was thinking of, although I really want something in a brighter colour to lift the dress a bit. I've just got a 20% off M&S code, I'll see if they have anything...

Smart ballet flats sound comfortable - the idea of heels hurts my back just thinking about it!

What about a navy/White striped blazer? There seems to be loads around and will stand out a bit. Try new look maybe?

And pointy flats?
I'll try and find some for you.

Not stripey but lovely colour
