A wide brimmed white hat would help against the sun but I'd say only wear one if you really love hats / want the sun protection or the dress code demands it.

I have gone for the white sandals as I have 2 pairs of Black sandals.

I like the sandals but I think black or actual white would work a lot better, TBH.
