Sunburnt scalp - need style advice!

Over the last couple of years my skin has become more sensitive to the sun and now I burn very easily. I'm now very good at putting sun tan lotion on anytime I'm going to be out in the sun but need something stylish but effective at protecting my scalp as a burnt scalp is soooo painful!
On a weeks holiday abroad I will happily use the sun hair spray products but don't want that greasy just got out of a swimming pool look when I'm at the park with my DD or out shopping etc. Any ideas please?

Wear a hat! Seriously, having let my scalp get pink and then peel a couple of times (nice) I never spend time in the sun without one now. And when I go in the sea I use a scarf folded into a headband that's wide enough to cover the whole of my parting. As you say, products never work for your hair and skin at the same time, so just cover up.

Out here, hats all the way. Cover the vulnerable skin.

In which case I'm watching for inspiration!
Zara has been suggested to me for having hats which might fit a larger head. Also, I've found max-caps.co.uk, who claim to have larger hats, so I'll order if there if I've not found something before I come back to the UK that doesn't feal like a clamp round my head. Not much use if you've a normal sized head tho!!!
