Dress for Goodwood Revival

I'm going to the good wood revival for the 1st time this year and having lost weight want a really lovely dress. I am size 10 but with big boobs so find it a bit tricky to get dresses that fit well all over I.e if they fit my boobs they hang off my waist and anything that fits my waist won't do up over my chest. I'm not sure what to go for as I've not been before. Suggestions please.

Up to £200 but preferably a lot lot less as I will not be wearing it more than once.

Are you going to watch the cars racing at all? You need to be aware that a lot of the PR photos that Goodwood has on their website are of staff or local dram soc girls who are paid to dress up & are bussed in so they arrive on tarmac. The average paying customer parks in a grass field with quite a walk to the main circuit gates and within the gates there is a fair amount of gravel & even if you have grandstand tickets you may need to negotiate a grass slope to get to your grandstand. So I'd recommend thinking about footwear before you decide on a dress. If you don't have grandstand tickets & want to watch the racing you will be sitting on the grass or on a picnic chair on a grass slope & it can be quite steep.
If you are going to watch the racing you also need to plan for both hot & cold weather. Because its an airfield, the wind is bitter if its cold and you need coats & warm hats; but some years its boiling hot. It is almost always cold first thing so you need something you can wear thermals under & readily take them off in the loo.
Otherwise decide on your era - with your curves 50s would be good but try & avoid the Grease extra look that too many women go for. A Marilyn Monroe style dress doesn't look too good with flat shoes & it would be a problem if you are trying to get up & down grassy slopes. So you need to think about the practicalities first. If you are just going to be dropped at the gates & won't go near the racing then you would be OK in stilettos.

It's a corporate day so will be in the champagne sections I was thinking of wearing heels but taking a pair of pumps if my feet collapse or too sticky in the grass. I was thinking 50's perhaps a wiggle dress or a full skirt type with fitted top but have no idea where to buy them.

I think the corporate is fairly good for heels - sometimes you get some type of rush matting put down on grass & it is wobbly to negotiate but I think Goodwood is better. You will probably get dropped at the main entrance too. Plus you have a tent if it is wet or cold.
These websites do some wiggle dresses & Damsel has some full skirted. 2nd website is expensive but has a sale section with some in your price range. For full skirted options Coast & LK Bennett currently have various which would suit.

I went last year and just hired a dress, didn't seem worth buying one. Mine was a 50s style, and came with gloves, belt & hat! You need to reserve early though, otherwise the good stuff goes!

I'm thinking of doing as a land girl. My mum thought I should go in something a little more glam than dungarees! We're going for two days though so might have two outfits.... Watching for ideas :)
