High street buys for summer holiday

FOFONAR · 14/05/2016 19:06

I'm 34, 5ft 2, big boobs and curvy. Trying to lose at least half a stone before I start bikini shopping but starting to think about a holiday wardrobe. Would prefer high street as like to try before I buy. Would love the following:
Palazzo trousers (ok on a shorty?)
Maxi dresses petite
Play suit but am I too old!
Summer dresses
Bikinis
Any other recommendations

No useful shops to add, but watching with interest!

I like Next for bikinis. Bra size, not to spendy, fairly good choice.
Bought this one which is a lot nicer irl. Colour is much nicer.

And this one except not the bottoms, not nice. They have other matching bottoms which I'll buy and that don't have those hideous tie things at the side.

Haven't bought any other summer clothes. So far. Planning to sit tonight and pore over some websites.

I don't need any holiday clothes till October (Tenerife) and I bought swimsuits last year so ok there.
My main aim for Summer clothes is natural fabric or as close to as possible.
How many times do I see something, think "Ohh" touch it , and its nylon. Sad

I've had a few nice bits from Sainsburys though, so worth a look (and online )
There's a Premium range that seems to have a fair amount of 100% cotton.

I'm not a Gok Wan fan so never bought any of his but the 'Tu' range is worth a looksie.

I'm 5ft but not quite so curvy and late 30s.
Next or Dorothy Perkins are good for petite maxi dresses. Boden are also good if you can bear mail order.
Next and Topshop for swimwear.
Accessorize is also good for beachwear and accessories.

That first next bikini looks perfect. Waiting to be measured by bravissimo before I purchase.

I buy a lot from DP as the petite dresses are a good size.

Found a red patterned play suit in Henry Holland but again am I too old? Will try link in a minute

Well ive got a few nice bits from Matalan surprisingly - ive bought shorts and a bikini (their swimwear seems to fit me well) but I did notice wide leg summery trousers so worth a look for you maybe. Also I got some nice soft jersey trousers from Peacocks!! Planning on getting some cotton tops from Next too and gold sandals hopefully!Have you had any luck op?
