If Victoria Beckham is wearing a skirt this length does it make it non-mumsy and non-frumpy

Because I'd love some summer frocks this length

Nice dress, not frumpy on Vic at all. So what if you look frumpy? A few people will bitch about you, do you really care that much about their opinion?Confused

I think midi length skirts can be tricky to pull off. They can look ace but if the hem hits the widest part of your calf they can also be massively unflattering. And as with most looks it definitely helps if you're slim.

I think VB looks fine but I hate her shoes. I always hate her shoes. She's turned herself into this edgy fashionista but her feet can't seem to let go of her old Wag look.

Howto I like a bit of frumpy/tweedy sometimes. It's actually quite a powerful look, to step outside any cute/pretty/sexy and just look smart.

I don't mean unkempt and shuffling, I mean smart, neat frump.

Like Mrs Trunchbull or Matron or a 50s lady headmistress - a woman who has more important things to think about than silly little men. Grin

I'm short and do sometimes wear midis with flat shoes. I like to think I'm hitting a sort of Audrey Hepburn in Roman Holiday sort of vibe, although the reality is sadly rather less beautiful. I'm 'quite' slim but not super-skinny any more.
