Joan Collins makeup in M&S - anyone tried it yet?

I was whizzing through the beauty department in my local M&S yesterday when this caught my eye. The range doesn't seem to be available online yet, I think its just recently been launched instore.

The packaging made me laugh because its exactly what you would expect for a Joan Collins range - flashy, tacky, gold and shiny Grin There seems to be foundation, powder, eyeshadow palettes, lipglosses and lipsticks, probably some other stuff that I didn't notice. There's also a perfume which made me actually step back in horror when I sniffed it - must be an acquired taste Confused Lipstick and gloss colours looked quite nice and I have my eye on a hot pink gloss. I swatched a bit on my hand and it seemed nice and thick, colour stayed put when I rubbed it off with a tissue so maybe decent wearing. It's £18 though and that's more than I would usually spend so would like to read some reviews first

Anyone spotted this range in their local M&S?

They sell it on qvc!

I think it is highly reviewed on QVC. You can at least try it from there and return in 30 days for a refund if you don't like it.

Think I'll stick with the Rosie HW range thanks Grin

Oooh, what do you think of the Rosie range MsBojangles? Her lip products also looked quite nice but I haven't tried anything from the range yet

I have the I am Woman perfume and I love it, but I'm no spring chicken myself.
The lipstick goes on very well, much easier than others I've had. The nail polish does not go on as easily as my other brand (Max Factor) it's a bit too gluey to glide on well but once on looks lovely and lasts longer AND it's a lot easier to remove for some reason. Get my from QVC , have you seen Joan on there, she rocks it.

The lipsticks are my favourites, the formulas are creamy and there is a good range of nudes and natural rosey shades. I've got the Deco Diamonds eye palette which I love, unusual taupey colours, blends like a dream. I've got a blush as well, English Rose Flush, natural pinky tawny colour - goes on really easily, kind of turns powdery on your skin.

It's much better than you'd expect for a celeb range...I still look bugger all like Rosie though Grin

Thanks Bojangles, I may investigate some Rosie make up. I look nothing like her either and don't expect that will change!
