How do you hang your jeans/trousers?

I currently use those plastic clip hangers but I find it's taking up a lot of wardrobe space.

Is there a more efficient way?

I don't. I fold them.

I haven't got enough shelf space to fold unfortunately.

Take off belts before hanging you don't need added bulk
Hang over flocked hanger with waists of trousers at alternating heights

Flocked hangers means don't slip
Alternating heights of waists reduces bulk collecting in one level
