best sports bra for DD +

Thought I'd try this here first, I need a good sports bra for DD+, It is a massive struggle to find something that fits well!
I tried the new look one but it is so stiff and uncomfortable! Any recommendations? 32DD/E depending on where I'm shopping and I need something decent!

Freya Active Underwired, Panache sports bra or Shock Absorber (I prefer the Run) will all do the job very nicely. If you don't want stiff, then you will probably like Shock Absorber the best (they come up small, you might need to go up a back size).

Shock absorber 'run'

There are a few of these threads about. I use Freya active underwired (have to size up in the cup) or panache ultimate underwired (can be a bit big in the cup). I am 36GG ( in the Freya I ended up with 36HH to get the wire to sit right in the middle).

I'm a 28 DD (bloody hard to find!) and I have recently bought a sweaty Betty running bra that's brilliant. They're a bit on the small side so I upped to a 30DD which is really supportive (my boobs aren't actually big but are ruined after 3 pregnancies and dd1 who bf till 18mo, they need looking after!)

I have one of these bought after reading a thread on here. I'm happy with it so far. It goes on like a normal bra and because it's underwired it doesn't use compression to hold you in place. It's very comfortable

Shock Absorber. I'm usually a 30h but got a 34g which was perfect. They sort of pin your boobs to your chest which is a bit of a strange sensation but they don't move at all. I dance so lots of jumping about.

Agree to go up a back size but if you can wear your normal size (it'll feel very tight!!) it'll immobilise those puppies totally. I'm a 32G and love mine.

Shock Absorber. I'm a 40H, and they don't move with that brand.

I love my underwired Panache. I run & play netball and never feel like they're moving (36h)

Panache underwrite here. The back can be made a racer back for extra support. They are not going anywhere

There's no such thing as the perfect sports bra for everyone. How a bra fits really depends on the shape of your boobs.

I used to have a Panache full cup as linked above and now have a Freya Active. I much prefer the Freya but a lot of that is down to how my boobs sit. They're really close set at the top and splay out so I find anything where the underwire comes up to the top of my breast gets pushed away from my chest when I do anything that pushes my boobs together. As a result my boobs moved way too much when doing things like spin because holding the handlebars meant the underwire was rising away from my chest and my boobs weren't being supported properly. The Freya doesn't seem to have such a high rise in the underwire so stays put. I can't fault the Panache for not sitting right on me though, its not the fault of the designers that my breasts pretty much touch at the top.

Regardless of fit, the Panache bra resulted in monoboob. I like the shape the Freya gives me more.

Shockabsorber for my 40G's, although I do struggle to do it up myself as it has 2 sets of hooks.

I'm a similar size to you and, as the others said - Freya Active underwired, or the Panache sports bra. Both amazing.

They're both very supportive, made from cool wicking fabrics, and give a nice shape under clothes. They also don't chafe, even over long distances.

The shock Absorber Run is good, but I don't find it quite as comfortable as the Freya or the Panache. It's more of a strap-em-down monoboob style rather than separate cups, and I find the chest band can chafe on very long runs.

Finally, you could consider the Enell sports bra - looks like something a 1950s gym teacher would wear, but is very supportive.

The Freya underwired is fantastic. I have the Panache underwired as well but the cups are a bit thicker and I really don't need any padding! (32G) so prefer the Freya.

I haven't tried the Shock Absorber in years but hated the monoboob effect it created, and the Run bra doesn't come in a G cup so it's no good to me.

Those that have both the Freya and the Panache - do you take the same size in each?

Should have said, I'm usually 30ff but take 32ff in the Panache sports bra and would like to order the Freya online

I am normally a 36GG but had to get the 36HH in the Freya active underwired to get the wires to sit ok at the front.

I got the same size in both (40G) but I've lost a little weight between buying the Panache and buying the Freya so that my boobs have probably got a little smaller.

I went up a band size in both the Freya and the Panache (so 34G although I'm a 32G).

I wear a 32ff in both the Freya and the Panache, which is my usual bra size.

June you went up in the cup size as well as the back size as a 34G has a bigger cup size compared to the 32G (the sister size of the 32G would be 34FF)

Ah, hadn't thought about that pixie, the cup size in my Panache is a bit big. I will just have to order a selection of sizes
