What does it claim to do?? Is it a hairstyler as well as dryer? Intrigued that anyone would spend £300 on a hairdryer!!

With that money you could get a decent quiet hairdryer, GHD straighteners and a babyliss big hair and still have some left over

hollyisalovelyname · 01/05/2016 09:39

Faints!
£300.
I'd prefer to get my hair blow dried in a salon.

WoodleyPixie · 01/05/2016 09:46

I spent £100 on the ghd one which is fab. I would never spend £300 on a hairdryer. It's ugly as well

OhYouBadBadKitten · 01/05/2016 10:12

I like the idea that it can't suck up your hair into the motor. I once had a traumatic experience.....
I would be happy if they want to do a product test on mn. I wouldnt pay £300!

you missed the HOW from the start of your title

HOW Could this Dyson hairdryer possibly be worth £300?

Its great that its a British company and all that, but seriously its all over priced - we had the hoover and it was rubbish (might have been a dodgy one) we now have a henry that actually picks up dirt - personally i think Dyson is a bit 'Apple' marketing over substance

thatstoast · 01/05/2016 10:22

I saw this on click yesterday. They gave it to a hairdresser to the stars (can't remember his name) and he liked it. He said it was light and dried faster. When they told him it was £300 he was obviously not impressed. He said it was at least twice as much as the most expensive dryer they would buy for his salon. I don't see why anyone would buy it for personal use.

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 01/05/2016 10:23

I'm not sure they are a British company now are they? Didn't they move abroad? Happy to be told I'm completely wrong though.

Can't be better than my ParluxGrin

VulcanWoman · 01/05/2016 10:26

I might have a think about it if it was wifi. Grin

LemonRedwood · 01/05/2016 10:29

Only way I could be persuaded to spend £300 on a hairdryer is if it dried my hair in literally 5 seconds flat.

VulcanWoman · 01/05/2016 10:30

The price of these things seriously. That cordless vacuum cleaner product, the one that doesn't shackle you to the wall, now that company does an electric bike, wait for it, the bike price is £995!

LemonRedwood · 01/05/2016 10:31

Invent that and he's got my £300.

VulcanWoman · 01/05/2016 10:36

Now you've got me thinking about what would actually happen if one was to put head in the Dyson fan Shock

MovingOnUpMovingOnOut · 01/05/2016 10:40

I like my hair dryer. It dries my hair quickly and cost £10 from Tesco.

£300 on a hairdryer is just silly.

IHaveBrilloHair · 01/05/2016 10:45

I've currently got a Dyson fan in my hospital room, I might try it as a hairdryer laterGrin

Ilovenannyplum · 01/05/2016 10:47

£300.

THREE HUNDRED ConfusedHmm

Madness.

Littleallovertheshop · 01/05/2016 11:56

No.

Wagglebees · 01/05/2016 12:48

I have a parlux, fancy a ghd one and once eyed up a gorgeous looking yellow one in Sephora but about £150 is the absolute maximum I'd spend on a drier.

£300 is way too much for something that does he exact same thing as a £10 one. Ok so my fancy parlux makes my hair a fraction smoother than my £50 babyliss one but the difference is minimal really. I can't imagine what another £200 would get you? Do little arms come out of the middle bit and style your hair for you?

OMGSame · 01/05/2016 12:59

I saw a meme on facebook warning blokes not to put their dick in it... Not sure if that was real or not, or what would happen to the poor blokes cock if he did
