How would you dress-down this dress?

Am considering wearing this dress on a night out next month, but it's not a particularly dressy evening. Just dinner and a local show, maybe a couple of drinks afterwards.

Any advice greatly appreciate.

Excuse the rubbish picture... The dress is from New Look but doesn't appear to be on their website.

How would you dress-down this dress?

I'd wear it with a black blazer and ankle boots to make it a bit more casual & take the jacket off for the drins bit.

Yy to pp. Thick black tights, black ankle boots, black blazer, hair down, maybe a black scarf too? Take blazer / scarf off for drinks after. Beautiful dress BTW :)

Thank you for the replies.

I wasn't sure about black tights as it's orange (looks more red in pic) and thought black wouldn't 'go'?!

I like the scarf idea though.

Re ankle boots, do you think heels or flats?
Have black shade wedge boots and tan Chelsea boots with a slight chunky heal.

Hmmm I don't know... Think that's a bit too dressed down. Cute look though Grin

Just Googled the Ash trainers - had never heard of them before Blush

I like!!

Would you wear nude tights or black with them? I think nude?

BeckyWithTheMediocreHair · 29/04/2016 21:57

Gah, not nude. Opaques or bare legs.

Cliffdiver · 29/04/2016 22:07

Eeek... Can't do bare so soon after winter, need something to take the glare off my legs!
