Granddaughter's Christening... What should i wear?

My gorgeous GD is bring christened, end of May.

I have no idea what to wear. I live in jeans. I don't own a dress. I last wore a bridesmaids dress in 2005!

I tend to go for boring tailored trousers/suits. I'm in my early 40s. Size 8/10. Very boyish shape. Not nice legs.

I keep.looking at dresses but i can't imagine wearing a dress. Where do i start? Should i stick with trousers?

Trousers and a nice top can be very elegant, or have you considered a jumpsuit? I love them. I am 40 and have about 5 too many. And they can be accessorised up or down.
