Help with what to wear with dress

Hi everyone,

I'm so rubbish at styling and putting things together that I'm after a bit of help. I have a wedding in Scotland late May and I think I have chosen a dress for it, but not sure what to wear with it. So if anyone could help with suggestions and examples of wear to find it that would be so helpful.
No headpieces is on invitation so that makes things slightly easier.
What you wear cardi? If so whet style colour?
Can I get away with nice sandals or flats or kitten heals? Dp is slightly shorter than me and I also hate high heals with a passion! Everywhere I go I normally just wear silver shoes thinking it goes with everything. Should I branch out this time?
What time of jewellery.

A cardigan or dinner jacket is fine. I'd go with cerease pink to compliment the cerease pink markings on the dress.
Cerease pink bag.
Cerease pink shoes.
Either gold or silver short necklace either would work. It's just a matter of preference
Again gold or silver chunky bracelet
Gold or silver glitter nail polish. Depending on the Jewellery you choose, or If you don't want wear Jewellery either gold or silver

Silver shoes would look nice.

Please don't go down the matching shoes and bag route - very dated and aging

I wonder if you'll be warm enough with bare legs and sandals in Scotland in May. You might be lucky I suppose.

lovely colours in the dress. wd pick a darkish blue for shoes and bag. Cd do white for the jewelry . Not sure about top.

Youre going to be freezing (probably, it's been lovely all week bar the snow on Monday...) - a cardigan is a good call, or a shawl? Pink would be nice with it, or navy?

Also- no head pieces?! Is that not an odd thing to be so prescriptive about?

I agree with silver shoes and jewellery, and darker (eg navy) cropped jacket or cardigan and bag
