Is this ok for a wedding and do the shoes go?

Going to the evening do of my cousin in law and I'm totally stuck. I have a few dresses that might be ok but I've never found the shoes to go with them.

Do you think this one is ok? I feel a tad mumsy in it

This is the other option but I have no clue what shoes to put with it.

It's lovely. Personally I think a lot of people look a touch mumsy at weddings but it's kind of nice and wedding-ie if you know what I mean.
Like the shoes too

BettyBi0 · 20/04/2016 14:01

I like the first option btw

MrsChrisPratt · 20/04/2016 14:02

Both very nice and shoes are fine. I'd wear some nice jewellery or dress up with a swanky handbag for evening do.

LizzieMacQueen · 20/04/2016 14:02

I prefer the first one. If it is a summer wedding I would wear sandals - in fact if temp was over 15 I would wear sandals, no tights, maybe a bit of bronzer on your legs.

The first is lovely, perfect for a wedding.

RaeSkywalker · 20/04/2016 14:03

I like them both!

Maybe nude shoes with option 2?

Roseberrry · 20/04/2016 14:38

Thank you! I think I will go with the first one and rock the mumsiness Smile

The first one would look lovely with a brightly-coloured sash belt and accessories. Coral pink or turquoise.

Paulat2112 · 20/04/2016 15:18

I know you have already decided, but I agree with the first option :)

LuckySantangelo1 · 20/04/2016 15:18

2nd one! Have you got any metallic shoes? Or a bright colour?

icklekid · 20/04/2016 15:20

I like the 2nd one. What shoe options have you got?

GinIsIn · 20/04/2016 15:27

Love the first one! In fact, where is it from?

Roseberrry · 20/04/2016 15:44

No I only have black and some nude heels but they don't really go. What colour and style would you go for?

First dress is from Wallace I think. I bought it ages ago and have never worn it as I'm not usually brave enough to wear a dress!
