alternative to converse

Had enough of converse. They're too flat and I really don't find them comfortable to wear. Can anyone suggest an alternative to wear with jeans?

supergas are ok ish,or maybe vans? I'm 42, not a 17 year old skater boy and mostly wear gap real straight jeans.

All suggestions welcomed!

I'm wearing proper trainers now (well proper fashion, not my runners). I've got a pair of Nike Air Thea in black (white soles) and a crazy kinda animal print in teals/turquoise Nike Pegasus. Love them, soooo comfy! V happy I can wear trainers to work

How about Vans? I can't wear converse as they make my feet look gigantic.

DC Chelsea TX. They can be a little hard to source in the UK, but oh-so-comfy and good wearing.
