Does this style have a name?

I don't know but I really like them. I once saw a woman wearing some with a small heel similar to these but far, far nicer. Very chic and continental. A year on I still wish I'd asked her where they were from.

ChoccyJules · 15/04/2016 17:25

Marking place as need some nice summery shoes which let air in and not allowed open-toes at work, sadly these are sold out in my size.

Stepawayfromthezebras · 15/04/2016 17:30

D'orsay I think

Talisin · 15/04/2016 17:56

'Two part shoe' is how I generally see them referred to.

Lookdownthesofa · 15/04/2016 18:39

Ooh, thank you! Can you help me find a flat (but not too flat) d'orsay/two part shoe in gold? Need a strap, so similar style to those I linked to. Budget up to £50.

These aren't gold but might be along the right lines www.clarks.co.uk/p/26117472
V nice on, pic doesn't do them justice.

I've seen quite a few of this style lately. Will try and remember where...

Talisin · 15/04/2016 19:23

Asos any good?

Talisin · 15/04/2016 19:32

These ones from Monsoon do have a heel but it's not high (and they're on sale).

Lookdownthesofa · 15/04/2016 20:01

Not keen on the Clark's ones and I really, really do need them to be flat. Quite like the Asos ones, but think they might be too flat .

OhBuggerandArse · 15/04/2016 20:28

herecomesthsun · 15/04/2016 20:30

even cheaper Boden in sale

Choughed · 15/04/2016 20:41

Next has some in black. Sorry I can't link.

Talisin · 15/04/2016 20:54

Espadrille style?

Lookdownthesofa · 15/04/2016 21:45

I quite like the espadrille style ones. Do espadrilles tend to have an inflexible sole (if that makes sense?)

Lookdownthesofa · 15/04/2016 21:56

I like these, but wish they had a strap

They're known as "open waisted".

herecomesthsun · 16/04/2016 07:27

El Naturalista

herecomesthsun · 16/04/2016 07:43

cheaper and not as flat as they first look

Lookdownthesofa · 16/04/2016 10:02

☺ Thanks herecomesthesun. The second ones are those I linked to in my original post. The style is perfect, but the colours aren't quite right. There are none left in my size in any of the colours anyway. Maybe i'll do a general search for el naturalista shoes. They are certainly the style I am after.

herecomesthsun · 16/04/2016 10:18

Ah sorry

BlackCatSleeps · 16/04/2016 10:23

I didn't check each of the links so apologies if these have already been suggested but I was sent a Seasalt catalogue yesterday and there are some in there. Called Palmaira sandals.

weebarra · 16/04/2016 10:25

Yes, I was going to say Seasalt Palmaira. They do have a tiny open bit but wouldn't show your toes - I have awful awful toenails so can't show them!

StuckMelia · 16/04/2016 10:32

Is it a peep toe heels?
