Baking soda for dark circles? Anybody tried this?

'All you have to do is put a teaspoon of baking soda in a cup of hot water or chamomile tea and mix well. Moisten a cotton diskette mixed and put it under the eyes. Leave it to act for 10-15 minutes. Rinse your face with water and apply a moisturizer. You’ll notice results immediately and your skin will be shine.'

Please don't, baking soda should not be used on your skin it will damage it, especially the delicate eye area. Read this for a more advanced explanation as to why.

everything in that link is a chemical, even the stuff in expensive bottles with farty French names.

REALLY simple explanation: dark circles under eyes are blood vessels running close to the thin skin. You cannot scrub off blood vessels.

I thought it was for eye bags rather than dark circles. Anyway I tried, I last about 3 seconds under just one eye - it burned like fuck.
